The instructions to this committee have been released (4:50 PM, Friday, March 27). Click here to read the statement. The Violet will have several responses, but please note that neither the Director of the museum nor the Chairman of the museum's Board of Overseers is on this Committee. Instructions to the Committee clearly state that issues surrounding the art collection (the essential identity of the museum) are NOT within the Committee's charge and remain the domain of the school's Trustees. Thus, the situation of the Violet remains essentially the same as it was on January 26, 2008 when it was announced that the museum will be closed and the artwork sold.
( Livvie's notes )
So the question is why did the school close? Was the Paradox Design prior or post the school's closure?
